Creating Community Through Learning and Play

Children’s Garden Preschool strives to provide a developmentally appropriate classroom atmosphere for children within a strong, loving Christian community. Recognizing that every child is a gift from God, we work hard to show each one that he or she is a valuable part of the CGP Family.

A traditional, center-based approach is used in classroom time, while teachers facilitate learning, play and community. Part of each day is spent in the Rainbow Room, our multi-purpose space dedicated to enriching the child’s learning experience. Children also participate in music, movement, chapel and library each day.

We also love the outdoors! Children are outside everyday, weather permitting, on the playground and the blacktopped area reserved for their use.

Parent’s Morning Out

Caterpillars (12 – 30 months): 9:00 am – Noon

Small classes of 5 – 7 children with attention to social and emotional development in an atmosphere of love.
Age Requirement: Must be 12 months old by September 30
Number of Days: 1 – 3

• Age 1 – 2: Tuesday and Thursday
• Age 2 – 2.5: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Preschool Classes

FireFlies (Older Two’s & Younger Three’s): 9:00 am – Noon

Class Size: Approximately 12
Age Requirement: 2.5 years old by September 30
Number of Days:

• 2 days: Tuesday and Thursday

Butterflies (Older Two’s & Younger Three’s): 9:00 am – Noon

Class Size: Approximately 12
Age Requirement: 2.5 years old by September 30
Number of Days:

• 3 days:  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 5 days: Monday – Friday

Dragonflies (Older Three’s & Younger Four’s): 9:00 am – Noon

Class Size: Approximately 12
Age Requirement: 3.5 years old by September 30
Number of Days:

• 3 days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

Bumblebees (Older Three’s & Younger Four’s): 9:00 am – Noon

Class Size: Approximately 12
Age Requirement: 3.5 years old by September 30

• 4 days: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
• 5 days: Monday – Friday

Ladybugs Class (Pre K): 9:00 am – Noon

Class Size: Approximately 12
Age Requirement: 4.5 years old by September 30

• 4 day class: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
• 5 day class: Monday – Friday

Grasshoppers Class (Junior Kindergarten): 

Class Size: Approximately 12
Age Requirement: Must be enrolling in Kindergarten the following year.
Number of Days:

• 5 day class: Monday – Thursday (9:00am – 1:50pm) and Fridays (9:00 – 12:00)
